How much does a website cost?
$99 to start, then $300 when you approve the finished site and we go live — so $399 upfront in total. After that it's $59/month, which covers hosting, security and monthly updates. Prices are the full amount payable. No GST has been charged (not registered for GST).
How long until my website is live?
Most local businesses are live within days of getting started. We keep the process focused: you fill in a short brief, we build a draft, you get two rounds of edits, and we publish.
Do I own my website?
Yes. It's built for your business, on your own domain, with your content. You're never locked out of your own site.
Is hosting included?
Yes — premium, secure hosting is included in the $59/month, along with security updates and maintenance. There's nothing extra to arrange.
How many changes can I make?
Your plan includes two rounds of edits. If you need more after that, they're charged at our published rates ($150 per extra page, $150/hour for complex work). If you ever run out by mistake, just ask and we can sort it out.
Is my website built in Australia or outsourced overseas?
Built here. Websites by CD is Australian owned and operated (ABN 41 725 800 579) and your website is never outsourced to an overseas provider. You deal directly with the person responsible for your site, on Australian hours.
Are your prices GST inclusive?
We are not currently registered for GST, so no GST is charged — the price you see is the full amount you pay.
Do I need to be technical?
Not at all. You tell us about your business through a simple online form, and we handle the design, build, hosting and Google setup for you.
I already have Instagram and Facebook — do I still need a website?
Yes. A website is where locals find you on Google, and it's an asset you own (unlike a social page). We link your existing Instagram and Facebook content into the site so everything works together.
Is there a minimum term?
The subscription has a 12-month minimum, which keeps the upfront cost low while we host and look after your site.
Can I refer other businesses?
Absolutely — and we'd love that. There's a simple referral link so you can send a friend or fellow business our way, and we'll look after them.
